Position Title: Middle/High School Science TeacherEmployment Type: Full-Time (On-Site)Work Location: 3580 N. US Hwy. 17-92, Lake Mary, FL 32746

Job Summary: The Middle/High School Science Teacher will provide science instruction to students in grades 6–12, following Florida state academic standards and inquiry-based learning practices. The teacher will plan and deliver lessons, develop assessments and laboratory activities, and support student growth in core science subjects. Collaboration with faculty, participation in academic initiatives, and communication with students and families are required.

Job Duties:

- Plan, develop, and deliver science lessons for middle and high school students in Physical Science, Life Science, and Biology, aligned with NGSS and Florida state standards.

- Design assessments, laboratory activities, projects, and assignments to evaluate and support student understanding and inquiry-based learning.

- Prepare students for classroom and standardized assessments, as well as academic enrichment activities such as Science Olympiad.

- Integrate technology into instruction to support student engagement and individualized learning.

- Maintain a safe, organized classroom and laboratory environment, ensuring proper handling of materials.

- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including English Language Learners and students with varying academic abilities.

- Collaborate with the science department to align curriculum, share instructional strategies, and support school-wide programming.

- Maintain accurate student records for grades, attendance, and performance.

- Communicate with students and families regarding academic progress, expectations, and school activities.

- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school initiatives.

- Support the school's mission and student-focused culture through active engagement in school activities.

 

Minimum Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Science Education, Chemistry, or a closely related field.

- 24 months (2 years) of experience as a Middle School or High School Science Teacher, or in a related teaching occupation.

- Valid Florida Professional Educator Certificate.

- Experience delivering standards-based instruction aligned with NGSS or equivalent frameworks.

Work Location: Primary worksite: 3580 N. US Hwy. 17-92, Lake Mary, FL 32746 (Seminole County)

Job Summary: Lead daily campus operations in coordination with the Principal (scheduling, student services, compliance). Oversee curriculum alignment and assessment systems tied to Florida standards. Conduct classroom observations; mentor/evaluate teachers; coordinate professional development. Manage student conduct systems/restorative practices; oversee MTSS and behavior supports. Coordinate parent/community stakeholders; track accreditation and compliance deliverables. Support strategic planning, data dashboards, and continuous school improvement cycles. Assist with administrative reporting and ensure compliance with Florida DOE requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

     Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.

     60 months (5 years) of experience as an Education Administrator, Elementary Teacher, Secondary Teacher, or related occupation.
