young at artOn February 27, 2016 Seminole Science Charter School proudly participated in Playground Magazines “Young at Art” children’s art festival. Twenty art submissions were chosen to be sent to Artegon Marketplace for the final judging and a change to win monetary awards as well as two passes to the Crayola Experience. Out of around two hundred submissions from across the Orlando area, and ten possible winners, three students from SSCS were awarded the grand prize. These students were Jasmine Y. (4th), Clifford P. (4th), and Evan S. (2nd).

SSCS also participated in the event with a craft table. Children at the event were able to see the physical reaction when rubbing alcohol meets permanent marker all while creating fun pieces of art on tiles to take home.
