STEM School for K-8 Grades | Tuition Free Public Charter School

olylogoThe Florida First Coast Science Olympiad competition at River City Science Academy in Jacksonville, Florida took place on Saturday, March 26 2016. Seminole Science Charter School sent two teams to compete in their first ever Elementary Science Olympiad competition. The teams’ names are the Mad Bionic Scientists and the Rocket Boosters.

There were 13 events that groups of two or three students competed in throughout the day:

A is for Anatomy, Bridge Building, Egg Drop, Energy Lab, Food science, Mystery Packaging, Mystery Powders, Picture This, Rock Hound, Starry Starry Night, Solid Liquids and Gases, Water Rockets, and Who Wants to be a Biologist.

We are excited to announce that all the hard work that our students, parents, and coaches put in throughout the year showed through on this day.  

Our school brought home the 3rd place trophy!!!
